You should avoid looking at your actual keyboard and look at the on-screen keyboard which guides you. To view the on-screen keyboard you need to enable the option.

If you wish you can type inside a text box to get feel of real text typing. This is not necessary, It depends on your preference.

For English use Qwerty, Dvorak or Colemak, for German language use Qwertz layout. AZERTY for French. Russian and Spanish layouts are available.

WPM (Words per minute) is used to measure your typing speed. A word is considered of 5 letters.
